A heart for the wife
I am thinking about getting this for my wife for Christmas as one of her stocking stuffers. I usually get a few little things that will fit in her stocking and she does the same for me. One day we will have kids and making the pretense now will help us to do it with ease later. Besides, we both like to gift a lot, and we can afford it.
Well I am going to get off of here and go cook dinner. I am making a special dinner tonight for the wife since she has been working so hard. She loves Manicotti and I found a really good recipe for it a few days ago. I went to the store on the way home to get all of my supplies. Now I just have to put it all together and have it ready for when she gets home. So hasta la vista peoples.
My neighbor has to work weekends and is off on Monday’s. This is her Saturday and she is definitely enjoying it. She must be drinking, because she has the windows open and is singing for all she is worth in her living room. She isn’t half bad a singer either. My wife will be home soon and will probably go join her, which is good. Maybe I can catch some Monday night football in peace. I love it when a plan comes together.
I so wanted to take the boat out today, but the weather is not going to cooperate with me. Sixty percent chance of rain and a storm is already moving in. I can hear the thunder in the distance and getting closer. It is going to be a “putter around the house” kind of day.
Oh well, I guess I can work on my “honey do list”. My wife always has one on the fridge. Usually made up of stuff that has gotten behind. I think cleaning the garage is on there, so maybe I will do that. I can open the garage door and watch the rain while I work and still get some fresh air at the same time. I will just turn up the music and go go go!
Well you never know what is going to happen in this world, so I have decided that it is time to do some funeral planning. I don’t want my wife or the family to have to deal with it should something happen to me. I will have to talk to my wife about it, because we should make sure that we are both taken care of and all of our wishes fulfilled. I know that she will agree with me on this.
