I am already missing summer listening to this. I can’t wait for winter to be gone and we can get back out on the water for some relaxing in the sun fun. I know that Christmas isn’t even here yet, but I have that itch and cannot scratch it. I might have to take a mid winter vacation with the wife to somewhere warm that is surrounded by water. February sounds like a good month for that. I am making a mental note to myself to plan this as a surprise for the wife.

Vacation
I know where we are going for vacation next spring, North Carolina. My cousin has been looking at nags head real estate and found a beautiful beach house that he just couldn’t resist. He informed the rest of us at a weekend BBQ and offered it up to anyone who wants to use it for their vacations. He figures that it would be better to get as much use as possible, rather than just he and his wife. I can’t wait to see it.
Vacation
I think we need a little down time. We are taking a week off of work and getting out of town. We found beach houses for a really good deal and will rent one of them. We really love to go to the gulf coast and enjoy the pristine beaches there. It is peaceful and the people are really nice as well.
Slowing down at work
Well I knew it would happen, but I was really not prepared for it to happen yet. I was hoping work wouldn’t slow down until summer time. Then I would have an excuse to take the wife on a camping trip for like a week or maybe an extended vacation. I suppose that I will just have to deal with it though and find something to keep myself occupied. Perhaps I can do a little more remodeling on the house. We still have a lot we want to do to the house and now I have plenty of time to do it.
