Almost finished

I am almost finished with my mud truck. I have been working on it for so long, it seemed as if I would never finish it. Other then some cosmetic stuff I want to do, it will be ready to go mudding in time for spring. I am really excited about this, because I cannot wait to hit the mud pits. I am also condiering taking it down to Florida for the MuddyGras in Central Florida. It is one of the largest mudding get togethers there are. Of course, I will have to trailer it down there, but that is no problem either. We will make it one way or another. Here is a pic of the MuddyGras festival.

MuddyGras

A very cool idea

This is a great idea. I spill all kinds of coffee, soda and food in my truck when I am on the road working. As I travel from job site to job site, I frequently have to eat on the go and quite frankly, accidents happen. This is much cheaper then having a vehicle completely detailed and has the same results. Happy cleaning!

Working on the truck

I am working on my mud truck. I have had it for quite some time and work on it as I can. This summer has been so busy that I really haven’t gotten to enjoy going out in it much. It doesn’t need a lot of work, but I want to give it a little more height. I want it to be taller. Then I will buy some monster tires for it and have to trailer it to the mud pits. That is okay though, because I don’t mind. I will have one of the biggest and best trucks out there and it will be awesome. I will post pictures as soon as I finish with it completely.

Danged truck

I cannot believe that my truck threw a rod. It hasn’t been acting up at all, and then BAM…it stops running and leaves me stranded on the side of the road. Thank heaven for AAA. I have plenty of work trucks I can use from my company, but I love my old beat up truck. I guess I am going to have to buy a new one, because the old on is really old and not worth fixing a problem of this magnitude.

My wife will be happy about it though. She has been wanting me to get rid of that old truck for years. We could afford it, but I was attached to it and didn’t want to give it up. I think I will buy a new Ford Super Duty with a crew cab. We shall see.

Sheepskin

I found some awesome stuff for my truck. I am buying sheepskin seat covers to go in it. They are the real deal, not the fake ones either. I found that they are amazingly soft and will help when it is cold outside. Getting into a truck with cold leather seats can be very daunting first thing in the morning. luxury car seat covers are good for protecting the leather as well from wear and tear, especially in a work truck. I am so happy that I found these online.

I am going to show the sheepskin products to my wife and see if she wants any for her BMW. I am sure that she will, but I always ask her first with stuff like this. She is as picky with her car as I am with my truck. I guess we all have our little quirks when it comes to our vehicles.
