The wife and I are taking some much needed time off. We haven’t done anything in months and have worked really hard every day. With the exception of a cold or two, we have been really busy. We decided to take our Valentines trip a little early and are going away for five days. We need a little alone time. I made reservations at a ski resort in the Colorado Rockies and made sure we have our own little cabin to boot. I will let you guys know how well it goes after we return. We have never been to this place, so my recommendation will be forth coming. Have a great week peoples.

Present for my nephew
Well my nephew is going on a ski trip after Christmas and needs some snowboard gear. He has never really been to a resort for this kind of thing before and was invited by his best friends parents. We are going to make sure he has everything he needs before he goes, by making some of it his Christmas presents. I know that he is going to have a blast on this trip and I am really glad he is getting to go.
Diggin out the bikes
I was puttering around in the garage and dug out the bikes for a little maintenance. I think a bike trip tomorrow is just the ticket. We can go bicycling down by the river and enjoy what is supposed to be a lovely day. We can take a picnic lunch with us and eat on the bluff over looking the river. Maybe we can take the niece and nephew with us. They will love that I am sure.
Need a fishing trip
I am so in need of a extended fishing trip, complete with camping and nothing but guys. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wife, but I need some guy time. She doesn’t really enjoy fishing as a rule. If we are camping on the river, she will fish, bit otherwise, not really. I have to plan a trip very soon.
Our vacation
The wife wants to go to Le Village Arc 1950 in France instead of Florida. Her friend Wendy just went there with her new fiance and came back raving about it. I think it is a good idea. Since she wants to have a baby, we should do a few of the things we want to now, because after the baby comes we wont be able to for a long while. Les Arcs Accommodation is really nice and we have always wanted to take a trip to Europe anyway.
The pictures from Wendy’s trip were amazing and her fiance said it wasn’t overly expensive, because they planned the trip well. He gave us all the information we need to plan our own trip. We can see Paris for a couple of days, before going on to our final destination. Apartments in Les Arc are amazingly well priced as well as being very good looking. I guess my wife will get to go after all, because we all know I cannot tell her no.
