Kitchen bar

When we decided to remodel the kitchen we wanted to open it up as it was a closed in kitchen. After extensive remodeling, we have accomplished that and now have a bar that opens into the living room dining room area.  We are now going to purchase bar stools for it as well. I haven’t decided yet if I want padded ones nor not. We are still debating that. I am happy that we can finally buy them though.

We also have a bar outside, that is an actual liquor bar for parties and BBQ’s. The bar stools we have out there are old and need replacing as well, but we don’t want the same ones as what we get for inside the house. We want the ones for the patio bar to match the out door furniture. That might be a bit difficult, but not impossible. Either way, I am sure we will be happy with whatever we decide to buy.

Great Aunts house

I have a great aunt who moved to Canada about twenty years ago and when her husband passed away, she decided to stay. Her house needs repair though and she is looking for Toronto Contractors to do the work. She made friends up there, but all of them are too old to help out and of course she cannot do it herself. Before he died, her husband was working on the basement and never got to finish it. So that is one of the things she needs help with, toronto basement finishing.

It is so hard for the elderly to fix things around the house, especially for women. My Aunt needs to find kitchen contractors toronto as well, because she had some water damage when a pipe busted over the winter. Canadian winters are very harsh and cold. I was surprised that she had a problem with the pipes, as they are insulated and heated as well. You just never know when something is going to break.

I broke my wife’s spice rack

I broke my wife’s spice rack. Okay it was an accident. I didn’t mean to do it, but we were playing around and I bumped the wall and it came down. Unfortunately it shattered when it hit the floor. Oh well, it was old anyway and now I have a reason to buy her a new one. I told her to go Google kitchen spice racks and choose whatever tickles her fancy and I would buy it.  I really don’t mind for two reasons. One, I broke it and I should replace it with out complaint, and two, I like to spoil her.

That means she can go through all the spice racks she wants and pick whatever she wants. The kitchen is predominantly her domain as the woman of the house but I do like to cook too. I know that when she finds a couple she likes, she will ask for my opinion anyway. Then we will choose one we both like.
