The weather just does not want to cooperate with us lately. It is either too hot or raining. Mostly raining in the past month. That makes it rather difficult for construction job sites, especially if we have to pour concrete. I have one job site that may get rained out for just that reason. They were supposed to be pouring concrete today, so they may end up with a day off unless it slows down.

I might be able to send a few of them over to other job sites so they don’t lose a days pay. I usually do that if I can. My workers are happier than most, because I take care of them well. I don’t let them go without work if I can help it. I have even taken on jobs that I didn’t make much on just so I wouldn’t have to lay anyone off. It’s all about understanding.
