Winter is almost over and I am so happy. I cannot wait until boating season, and fishing season, and camping season. I am sick of the cold weather already. I cleaned out the garage and got everything prepped and ready for a trip of any kind as soon as the weather permits. There have been warm days already, but usually it is raining and they are always during the week. The weekends are always cold, cold, cold. I think a camping/fishing trip will be first on the agenda. Just little while longer and then we can go. My wife is excited too, because she loves to camp and fish as well.

Labor day
Labor day is coming up and I am not sure what I want to do. There are always tons of BBQ’s to go to, but it might be better to plan one myself down at the lake. Make a day of it fishing, swimming and eating good food, with good friends and family.
I think that is just the ticket for the up coming weekend. I think we will do it on Sunday rather than Monday. It gives people time to relax before they go back to work. To me that is very important after a weekend of play. I guess I better get started working on that list.
Fishing trip
I am going to take another fishing trip this weekend. I decided to take my nephews out fishing as they will be staying the weekend at our house. My sister and brother in law needed a weekend alone and asked if we could keep the kids. We were over joyed to be able to spend time with them and realized that we should have done this a while ago, or been doing it from time to time. We only see them when we have family get together’s and that is not nearly enough. I can’t wait to go, even my wife is coming with a picnic basket full of goodies to eat while we are gone.
Need a fishing trip
I am so in need of a extended fishing trip, complete with camping and nothing but guys. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wife, but I need some guy time. She doesn’t really enjoy fishing as a rule. If we are camping on the river, she will fish, bit otherwise, not really. I have to plan a trip very soon.
