Star Wars Marathon

Not feeling very healthy today. I sure hope I don’t have the flu. I really don’t feel well at all. So today I’m staying home, sleeping on the couch, eating chicken noodle soup and keeping a big box of Puffs tissues close by. Sure glad I found a Star Wars marathon on cable today. That will make the time fly by, and if I fall asleep during the movie its no big deal.

Summer Movies

So all the summer blockbuster movies are hitting the theaters now. There are a few that I want to see. I think the one about Super 8 is the most interesting so far. The Hangover sequel, Hanover Part II, is supposed to be hilarious.

I know all the kids are looking forward to the new Cars movie. I think I’ll take a couple of young nephews with me to see that one in a couple of weeks.

Toy Story

For some reason I have watched the first two Toy Story movies. So I guess it was fate that I would be watching the new Toy Story 3 movie this summer. The new one is in HD 3D – that should be cool in and of itself.

We went last night and it was actually good. I think it was better than the first two. But I will watch them both again with a critical eye and see if I still feel the same after the newness and novelty has worn off.

Action and Suspense

We didn’t get to see this when it was in the theaters. So when I saw the G. I. Joe dvd at Sam’s Club I just had to buy it. I don’t think you can buy a new movie for less than $20 anywhere around town anymore. So I bit the bullet and gave them $20 – it was worth every dollar. Great movie!

This past week I’ve been waching a ton of YouTube videos. I haven’t been much of a video fan until recently. I am amazed at the variety of subjects and different topics that have videos made. Mostly I have enjoyed the obscure music videos of bands that I like. Very cool site.
