Can’t sleep

I guess all of the sleep I got over the past few days as I was trying to kick the flu bug was more than enough. The problem with that is, I have to work tomorrow and can’t sleep now. I was looking forward to having energy and being on top of my game, but it looks like I am going to work tired anyway. Ah well, I I know for sure that I will sleep good tomorrow night. I am sure though that I will get a little sleep later, but for now I suppose I will do a little web surfing.

I will have to find a boring documentary to watch. That always puts me right to sleep. Then again, I can put on a really long movie with lots of music. The Lord of the Rings is really good for that. If I want to take a nap, I put that movie on. Don’t get me wrong, I love the LOTR trilogy, but it seems to have that effect om me. I think it may be the music in it or something. I am not sure, but it definitely works. Well wish me luck people, while I go do my surfing. Maybe I can find some good deals or something.

The Dark Knight Rises

This flick ROCKED! I watched it last night OnDemand and now I wish I had gone to the theater to see it on the big screen. The effects were amazing as always, but Christian Bale just nailed it. Bane was not what I expected after seeing the character in the past movies either. I wont give out a spoiler, but I highly recommend you see this movie soon. You will love it! I know that I did.

I just watched the trailer for the movie Taken 2. I loved the first one so much I went and bought it when it came out on DVD. The second one is going to be awesome, I just know it. Liam Neeson is a great performer, and actually makes you believe that what ever he is doing is real. I can’t wait for this movie to hit the theaters!

Changes

I was looking through some old pictures last night and came across some from my teen years. I have to say that looking back at the styles of clothes and cars is interesting. I decided to take a little trip down memory lane and see the different changes over the years. It was really interesting, kind of like looking at a silent movie.

I think I will scan all of the pictures to the computer and make a couple of albums. I can set them to disc and hand them out to family when the holiday’s come around. I know that my mother will love that.

Sleepy head

My wife is being a sleepy head this morning. We were supposed to get up early to go do something out of doors today, but she just doesn’t want to get up. I tried to wake her several times, but the sandman has a firm hold on her and won’t let go. I guess this week was harder on her than I thought. Usually she is up and at em on Saturday mornings.

I guess we will do something this afternoon or tomorrow. Maybe we can take in a matinee this afternoon. There are several movies that we have noticed in commercials we would like to see. I think I will go putter around in the garage for a little while, until she wakes up.
