I decided to take the tv stand with mount from the extra bedroom and move it into the RV in preparation for our road trip this spring. I have been going over the RV inch by inch, to make sure she is still sound and have given her a tune up as well. I don’t want anything going wrong before or during our trip. We are long over due for this and I am being extra careful.

OMG
My wife has found a new show to watch and it is so not my cup of tea. It’s called Bun Heads. Apparently my wife took ballet when she was a kid and loved it. Now she wants to relive it through this show. There are a lot of things I will watch, but that is not one of them. I have to go to the den and watch TV while she watches that, because there is no way that tutu’s and toe shoes are going to be what I get stuck dreaming about at night. Blah! Yuck! Grrrr….
Storm victims
I am worried about the storm victims from Hurricane Sandy. There are so many still without power and the winter cold has gotten much worse for them. I cannot believe some of the things I am seeing on the news about it. This is just unbelievable. I cannot see how the local government up there is allowing this to happen. These people need help and you would think that they would welcome help from elsewhere, but they are not. All I can do is shake my head and pray that someone uses some common sense soon.
News
I am officially not watching the news for a while. Every time I turn it on, there is nothing but bad news. Quite frankly I am tired of always seeing bad news. What happened to the good stories? Stories of people helping each other and babies being born. They just aren’t there anymore. So in light of that, I will leave off of the news for a little while and read a book instead.
My neighbor
My neighbor has to work weekends and is off on Monday’s. This is her Saturday and she is definitely enjoying it. She must be drinking, because she has the windows open and is singing for all she is worth in her living room. She isn’t half bad a singer either. My wife will be home soon and will probably go join her, which is good. Maybe I can catch some Monday night football in peace. I love it when a plan comes together.
