Bakugan Toys no comments
At the WalMart I walked through the toy section and saw a bunch of new toys on an aisle end cap. They are called Bakugan. I haven’t heard about these toys and wonder how the kids are supposed to play with these weird looking plastic balls. Does anyone know?

Well my favorite team didn’t win their playoff game so they are out of it. Now I have to cheer for my second pick and they don’t have a very good record in playoffs. So I am cautiously optomistic about the Cardinals winning their game. I think the Steelers and the Ravens are stronger teams. Nastier defense players anyway – they take a lot of cheap shots and really try to hurt the other guys, not just tackle them for the sake of the play. I don’t like that. It’s not a prissy game by any means, but it’s not about thuggery, either. Whatever happened to good sportsmanship? Why don’t these guys get it?

This weekend is big doings for football fans. I have cleared the deck so there are no errands that have to be run and no distractions planned for the 8 hours of football games tomorrow and Sunday. I want to focus on the football games and enjoy myself – chores can wait. After all, there are only a few weekends owth football left and then a long drought until August and next year’s preseason games.
Shout Out to Glen no comments
One of my best buds is Glen Brammel. This dude was in my first neighborhood when we first moved down here to Nashville. His parent’s house was right behind my parent’s house but two houses further south. So it was real easy to walk over to his house, or he would ride his bike up to mine.
We let a little distance come between when I went off to college in Chattanooga, but after that we ran across each other again and it was like I never left. He and his girl, Bailey, live across the county line but we get together for the big things, like Monday Night Football, some hockey games, and Bonnaroo.
So, hey! Glen. Here’s to you!
