Putting together Wedding favor bags

Well the wife has recruited me to put together the Wedding favor bags for her friends wedding. I am not sure how well this is going to work with my big hands trying to stuff these little things in these tiny bags. I will do by best though. I might have to make an escape this coming weekend to avoid having to help with more stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I like helping out, but I am a guy. I would rather go riding with the guys this weekend if the weather is right.

I tuned my four wheeler up on Sunday. It didn’t really take much, just an oil change, spark plug and filter. I checked all my tires and made sure the spare was still good as well. I am ready and raring to go!

Hunting trip

Well the time has come to break out the Big Agnes camping gear and take off for the annual hunting trip. My father and my brothers, as well as a few friends make our annual camping/hunting trip at this time of year, every year. This year will be no exception. We have already chosen where we will go this year, and need only to pack up and get on the road. We will be gone for a week. I cannot wait. It is my favorite time to spend with my dad and brothers. Just the guys, out in the big wild. I don’t even care if we bag anything or not.

My neighbor

My neighbor has to work weekends and is off on Monday’s. This is her Saturday and she is definitely enjoying it. She must be drinking, because she has the windows open and is singing for all she is worth in her living room. She isn’t half bad a singer either. My wife will be home soon and will probably go join her, which is good. Maybe I can catch some Monday night football in peace. I love it when a plan comes together.

The race

Well the race yesterday was a little disappointing. Jr spun out and lost a lot of position right at the end of the race and was unable to recoup it in time. It knocked him back in points to number four, from number one. Hopefully next week will be better and he can pull back up. Cross your fingers and pray he does better next week.

The mud bug

Now this is what I call ingenuity. I would never have thought to make a mud vehicle out of a Volkswagen Bug. The John Deere paint job is killer. I wish I knew where this car mudd’s at. I would really like to see it in action.
