I found discount whistler lift passes as well, so we can save a little money while we are at it. That is always a plus, and means I can spoil her a little more while we are there. I am looking forward to nice evenings after skiing, next to a roaring fire with my honey. I know that she is looking forward to it as well.

There are other areas that are also of interest and they are looking for Flats to rent Edinburgh to have access to records, but have to look for Flats to rent Aberdeen as well. We found out from an old diary that we have some family from there as well.  My grandmother has been a font of knowledge for my mom. She remembers everything about the family and has so much information stored in her memory, that it is amazing considering her age. I know my mom is going to love this trip.

The pictures from Wendy’s trip were amazing and her fiance said it wasn’t overly expensive, because they planned the trip well. He gave us all the information we need to plan our own trip. We can see Paris for a couple of days, before going on to our final destination. Apartments in Les Arc are amazingly well priced as well as being very good looking. I guess my wife will get to go after all, because we all know I cannot tell her no.

The saying that everything is bigger in Texas is actually true. The horses are bigger, the houses are bigger and the hats are most certainly bigger. When I moved here in high school I was certain that my parents were completely deranged for making us move to the desert from our cool place in Los Angeles. After being here for many years now I have really grown to love the place. Everyone who I know that comes here from out of town to visit just loves it. They really enjoy the southern hospitality that still exists here even in 2012. I enjoy when people come in from out of town because I have a bed and breakfast in town where people love to stay. I advertise online using my access with t1.xo and have had great success with having the place booked for most weekends and almost every day during the summer. We have been so successful with this bed and breakfast that we are considering opening another one in a neighboring town. I can’t wait!

Her husband was on his way home from work a couple of weeks before Christmas and some woman with two little kids on the car ran a stop sign and broadsided him. He has been in the hospital in traction since the accident. To top it all off, the woman who hit him did not have insurance.Of course, his car was totalled. Thankfully he was driving a big Mercury or his injuries could have been a lot worse.

I feel really bad for Lindsay and her family. Just when you least expect it, something catastrophic like this happens and your whole world grinds to a halt. Of curse, she is lucky that no one was killed. But that is small comfort when your husband is lying in a hospital bed and not able to work for an unknown length of time.

Not going out to party tonight but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to party! We are celebrating New Year’s Eve with a steak dinner, a glass of champagne at midnight, and watching the Times Square ball drop on TV. Welcome to 2012!

This year we don’t get a white Christmas, but it will be a merry one! I hope Santa finds your house and is good to you. Merry Christmas!
