Usually I am one of the first adopters when it comes to technical things. I am so very interested in computers and the internet, and I work with computers and telephones all day. So, unfortunately, when I get home after a hard day at work, the last thing I want to do is get online again and work on the computer at home. So I have avoided signing up for Facebook.

My wife has been on Facebook for several months and she loves it. So after a lot of nagging gentle prodding by my wife, I decided to bite the bullet and get onto Facebook. So far, it is easy to use and pretty interesting. But I need to search out “friends” to make it work.

My older sister is celebrating her birthday today. I bet she doesn’t say anything about it on her blog or make a big deal about it at work. But to me, every birthday is something special and I want her to have her own special day.

Almost finished my Christmas shopping. Just have to find the perfect gift for my mother. Then I’m done for this year. Woot!

We have to accommodate both families for Thanksgiving this year. So we will be eating two dinners. We go to her parent’s house at noon and then to my parent’s house at 6:00. And we start our diets tomorrow!
