Bakugan Toys no comments
At the WalMart I walked through the toy section and saw a bunch of new toys on an aisle end cap. They are called Bakugan. I haven’t heard about these toys and wonder how the kids are supposed to play with these weird looking plastic balls. Does anyone know?
Twizzlers no comments
Had to stop by Kroger for some sandwich bread and sliced ham this afternoon. I’ll be brown bagging the rest of this week.
On the end of an aisle was a big stack of boxes with different candies on sale. They had big bags of Twizzlers on ale, 3 packages for $5.00 – that’s a really good price for the big bags. I went ahead and bought the 3 bags, but I’ll have to make them last. That wasn’t on the menu this week.
Ticks and Fleas no comments
With all this rain and the grass growing like crazy, this is going to be a banner year for ticks, fleas and other outdoor bugs. I’m mostly worried about mosquitoes. I do go outdoors enough during the week to make it worthwhile slathering on insect repellent, so I feel like a moving target at dusk. On the weekends if I’m outside, I’ll go ahead and use some bug spray.
Time for my dogs to get their Frontline so they are protected against the bugs, too.

Happy Mother’s Day. Thanks for keeping me on the right path and being my personal cheerleader when I needed one.
Love you always,
Micah
Cinco de Mayo Party no comments
All the guys are getting together after work at the little Mexican restaurant with a patio downtown. We’re going to eat tacos and drink Dos Equis until midnight. It’s a party for Mexicans just like the Americans celebrate the Fourth of July. Let’s party on!
