The past couple of years we have had really mild weather during the winter. Last year I don’t think they even had a single “snow day” where school had to close due to bad weather.
But this year is going to be more like normal for this area. We are facing a winter weather advisory tonight, with sleet, freezing rain and some snow, with temperatures below freezing all night. This makes it really hard on the guys who have to work second or third shift to get home safely.
Watch out people. Stock up on groceries so you have food and essentials for a few extra days and be careful out on the roads.
