Ho Ho Ho no comments
Santa was good to me this year. I went out to a little club to have a few before heading home on Christmas Eve, and came up on a girl I used to know from high school who worked there. So I stuck around and gave her a ride home. Let’s just say we both had a very merry Christmas.
Winter Weather Advisory no comments
The past couple of years we have had really mild weather during the winter. Last year I don’t think they even had a single “snow day” where school had to close due to bad weather.
But this year is going to be more like normal for this area. We are facing a winter weather advisory tonight, with sleet, freezing rain and some snow, with temperatures below freezing all night. This makes it really hard on the guys who have to work second or third shift to get home safely.
Watch out people. Stock up on groceries so you have food and essentials for a few extra days and be careful out on the roads.
Broken Tooth no comments
Just eating a regular hamburger and yeowie – all of a sudden one of my back teeth cracked and a big chunk broke off.
At least it happened at lunch and I could call my dentist and get him to see me the same day as an emergency. He’s really good about that.
Looks like it’s gonna need a root canal and a crown. That’s just great to have this kind of expense right before Christmas. But you have to have your teeth fixed.
Jimmy Dean Commercials no comments
Not sure but I think the brand of sausage by Jimmy Dean is available all over the country. If so, then maybe everyone has seen the commercials which are a riot. The commercials are all centered around a guy dressed up as the Sun, hanging out in his home or his office and helping his friends and associates, like the moon and the rainbow, be their best because he encourages them to eat a good breakfast that include Jimmy Dean sausages.
It’s a laugh but a great idea. The skits keep coming with new ideas, too.
Shout Out to Glen no comments
One of my best buds is Glen Brammel. This dude was in my first neighborhood when we first moved down here to Nashville. His parent’s house was right behind my parent’s house but two houses further south. So it was real easy to walk over to his house, or he would ride his bike up to mine.
We let a little distance come between when I went off to college in Chattanooga, but after that we ran across each other again and it was like I never left. He and his girl, Bailey, live across the county line but we get together for the big things, like Monday Night Football, some hockey games, and Bonnaroo.
So, hey! Glen. Here’s to you!
